Four
It was late in the day, and I was still a little hung over. She had a little bob that made me think of someone I once knew. I asked her what floor. She said four. She smiled at me and asked me my name. I said Adam. She said her name was Sierra.
“How long have you lived here?” I asked.
“About a year,” she replied.
“Me too,” I said. “I just renewed my lease.”
“Cool,” she exclaimed. “High five!”
Then we high fived, and she got off the elevator on her floor.
